  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt, black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast on a baking sheet for about 15 minutes until crispy.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook sliced sausage until browned (about 3-4 minutes). Set aside. In the same skillet, cook shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  3. Lower the heat, add butter to the skillet and melt. Stir in garlic until fragrant. Add honey and soy sauce; simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet along with roasted broccoli; toss to combine and warm through for another 2 minutes.
