  • 12 tbsp liquid sweetener (like maple syrup or agave)
  • 1 1/2 tsp agar-agar powder
  • 1 cup beet/berry/cherry juice
  • 1/4 cup berry jam
  • 1 1/2 tsp agar-agar powder

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together orange juice, liquid sweetener, and agar-agar powder. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. Heat the mixture over medium heat until simmering and slightly thickened (about 2 minutes). Pour into molds or a shallow container.
  3. Blend beet/berry/cherry juice with berry jam and agar-agar until smooth. Heat similarly for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the berry mixture over the set orange layer. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until fully set.
  5. Remove from molds or cut into squares and enjoy!
