  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in Greek yogurt and spices for at least 1 hour.
  2. Sauté onions in butter until translucent; add garlic and ginger.
  3. Stir in spices and cook for another minute.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Cook marinated chicken separately until golden brown.
