  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (10-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, coat chicken pieces with olive oil and seasonings.
  3. Sear the seasoned chicken in a skillet until golden brown; remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter, then add cream and broth. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in cream cheese and all cheeses until melted and smooth.
  6. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
  7. Serve the pasta topped with seared chicken bites and garnish as desired.
