  • 300g chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced green bell pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 cups cooked white rice
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken strips in soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for 10 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the sauce ingredients: soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, chicken stock, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok; stir-fry marinated chicken until browned, then set aside.
  4. In the same wok, stir-fry minced garlic and vegetables until tender-crisp.
  5. Combine the cooked chicken with vegetables and pour in the sauce; stir until heated through.
  6. Serve over cooked white rice and garnish with fresh cilantro.
