  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel sauce)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (for caramel sauce)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for caramel sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (for caramel sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter and mix with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the wet mixture; combine.
  4. Pour brownie batter into a greased springform pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time and then sour cream.
  6. Pour cheesecake mixture over cooled brownie layer and bake for an additional 30-35 minutes.
  7. To make caramel sauce, melt sugar in a saucepan until golden brown; stir in butter and heavy cream along with sea salt.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce over cooled cheesecake before refrigerating for at least two hours.
