  • 500g flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 3 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok over high heat and stir-fry the marinated beef for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add garlic, ginger, onion, and bell peppers; cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return the beef to the pan, add your sauce mixture of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar; stir until everything is well-coated.
  5. Serve hot over cooked white rice.
