  • 400g Fresh Lo Mein noodles
  • 250g Beef sirloin
  • 34 Mushrooms, sliced
  • 23 Spring onions, cut into 2" pieces
  • 1 Bell pepper, julienned
  • 23 Cabbage leaves, thinly sliced
  • 56 Snow peas
  • 1 Small carrot, julienned
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Dark soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • ΒΌ tsp White pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sauce Mix
  • 1 tsp Corn starch
  • ΒΌ tsp Baking soda

Instructions

  1. Blanch the Lo Mein noodles in hot water for 1-2 minutes until softened. Toss with sesame oil and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix all sauce ingredients and set aside.
  3. Slice vegetables and beef against the grain into thin strips.
  4. Marinate beef slices in a tablespoon of sauce for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Heat a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat with oil. Sear marinated beef for 1-2 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Add harder vegetables first and cook alongside the beef for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add blanched noodles and sauce to the wok; toss everything together.
  8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through and well combined.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with spring onions or chili oil if desired.
