  • 2 tbsp sesame paste
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground Sichuan peppercorns (optional)
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lb ground beef or chicken
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp hoisin sauce
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Crushed peanuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  2. In a bowl, mix chili oil, sesame paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, ground peppercorns, and hot water.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat; add the ground meat and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and ginger; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Combine cooked noodles with the meat mixture and sauce; toss well to coat.
